Overview
In this project, we reconstructed a historically significant 21ft Coronet DC hull from the 1960s using an original line plan. The goal was to develop an accurate 3D CAD model to serve as the foundation for advanced hydrodynamic performance analysis.
Approach
The 3D modeling was carried out in Rhino, ensuring faithful geometry recreation. CFD analysis is now underway using STAR-CCM+ to study resistance, trim, and spray behavior. The results will inform design modifications to enhance efficiency.
