In the first phase of our project, we developed a 3D model of a 21ft catamaran hull from 1960 using an old line plan. The model was accurately created using Rhino software. Currently, we are conducting a CFD analysis in STAR-CCM+ to understand the hydrodynamic performance. Following the CFD analysis, we will perform various modifications to the 3D CAD model to optimize the hull design and minimize resistance.
